YOU MIGHT ARGUE WHY AN INTRODUCTION WHEN WE ARE ALLREADY ABOUT 20 YEARS IN THE DIGITAL ERA?

LET ME EXPLAINE!

Below is my picture with my kids, 21 and 12 years old Two years ago my younger son’s computer gone mad playing explicit movies. At that moment I sat down and started my own research on kids Internet safety.

I bought a lot of books, went through hundreds of websites and thousands of articles, I became a “guru” on different topics but my question:

WHERE DO I START?

was still unanswered. After a few weeks I realised that it is a full time job. Every topic took ages to research but the question was still the same.

What you will be getting: is a SHORT ACTION PLAN, describing first two steps you need to take before you go nuts.

This book is in two parts:

Part one: “Safe People” explains how to establish house rules and to have meaningful, well-informed conversations with your children about potential internet hazards.

Part two: “Safe Networks” is a ѕtер-bу-ѕtер action plan to mаking your hоmе nеtwоrk, dеviсеѕ аnd apps ѕесurе. I will discuss some of the technical ways that you can eliminate the possibility of your children seeing something they are not supposed to.

Inside the book I ask you to IMPLEMENT those two steps, it is fast end easy to do, and then you can take your time to do your own research on particular topic that you are interested in, changing settings in your daughter’s Facebook account for example.

To sum up: IT IS AN INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL PARENTING to those parents that know about it but are still at a point where I was two years ago. I give you a STARTING POINT.
